The Julius Kruttschnitt Mineral Research Centre (JKMRC) is an internationally renowned self-funded postgraduate research school and consulting organisation in The University of Queensland. It conducts research and consulting worldwide for the minerals industry. We have specific study opportunities in the following areas: - Multi Component Breakage; - Multi Component cyclone operations; - Multi Component tumbling mill model; - Multiphase particles in flotation; - Induction time and hydrophobicity; - Bubble loading in flotation; - Froth stability; - Floatability component model parameters.

This scholarship is offered on an ongoing basis to 5 people. Open for applications from December 1, 2007 until March 1, 2008.

The value of this scholarship is AUD43000 (total may vary). This award is to be used for living expenses and fees. This scholarship is paid fortnightly for the period of 2 years if masters or 3 years if PhD.
