International Scholarships for Graduate Study, University College London

UK. Each year the University offers 10 postgraduate scholarships for graduate study to applicants from overseas countries outside the European Union. Study may be at either Master’s degree or MPhil/PhD level in any subject offered by UCL. The value of each scholarship is £2,500 per year, which is deducted from tuition fees for the duration of the student’s programme of study, up to a maximum of three years.

The scholarships are competitive and will be awarded to prospective self-financing students who are liable to pay tuition fees at the rate for international students. Applicants should already have been offered a place on a full-time basis for a graduate course of study at UCL and should have firmly accepted that offer or intending to do so. The scholarships are not available to students already on course.

Application Deadline
Application forms should be completed and received by the Entrance Scholarships Office no later than 31st July for study from September of the same year (Phd candidates must register by July of the following year).

Selection Procedure
The Selection Panel meets in August and candidates will be notified of the outcome of their scholarship applications in late August.
