International Scholarships in Russian, Central and East European Studies

Invite for applications, Masters Scholarships for international students who attend 18 month masters programme in Russian, Central and East European Studies. This is a new masters programme within The Department of Central and East European Studies.

The scholarships cover tuition fees plus stipend of £15,000 over 18 months i.e. £10,000 per annum. The Department also invites applications from UK/EU students for a fee waiver International Masters scholarships (tuition fees only) on this new masters programme.

The International Masters programme will commence in September 2008 subject to the approval of the Senate Office of the University of Glasgow. The deadline for these scholarships applications is Friday 30 May 2008.

Applicants for the International Masters scholarships should apply as normal on the standard ‘University of Glasgow Application for Graduate Studies’ form which may be obtained from and should be returned to:

Please include the following documents with your application form: information about your first degree (copies of your degree certificates and transcripts of your previous study), two academic references and evidence of your English language ability, if appropriate.
