Ireland-Research Masters Position in Telecommunication

Waterford Institute of Technology, Ireland.

3 Years Research Master Positions are currently available at Telecommunications Software & Systems Group (TSSG). Will be advised by Dr. Huaiguo Fu. The positions are funded by the project of Software as a Service implementation of Predictive Analytics.

The successful applicants will develop the novel algorithms and scalable software systems for Web services and Web mining.

The interested candidates should:

• Possess a B.S. degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Have strong programming skills of Java and Ruby, and experience of implementing numerical algorithms with Java
• Have a good understanding or some experience in the following areas: database, statistics or data mining.
• With good written and spoken English
