UK. Several university studentships are tenable in area of the Department of Goverment, Faculty of Law, Arts and Social Sciences. The studentships will cover standard UK/ EU/ Overseas fees plus additional annual maintenance grant of £11,500.
The Department is able to provide PhD supervision in any of the following broad areas:
Applications should consist of a research proposal of around 2 A4 pages, a full curriculum vitae, and the names and addresses (including email) of two academic referees.
Application Deadline: 4 april 2008.The Department will select up to three candidates for the competition for University Studentships. Applicants will be informed by 18 April whether they have been selected for the competition. Successful candidates will be informed in early May.
The studentships are tenable from September 2008 for three years subject to satisfactory progress.
