Czech. 3 positions for doctoral students at Czech Technical University in Prague as part of the Marie Curie project WARTHE (Wide Area Research Training in Health Engineering, see the site www.warthe.eu). Candidates are expected to have Master’s Degree in the field of Engineering.

Some drafts of the thesis subjects are already available on the site. 9 students will work within close areas, share training and exchange about their works. Thesis (3 years) in the field of health engineering: micro-sensors in biomedical engineering, image and signal processing, medical imaging, medical robotics, vision, information processing, pervasive systems, telemedicine, bio-engineering.

EU standard salaries (about 2000 euros each month). Duration: 3 years. Students from Czech republic or from the secondment host country are not eligible, applicants should not have resided in Czech Republic in the last 3 years.

Secondment: 8 monts at UU (Belfast) or INSA (Lyon-France)Joint supervision: 2 PhD diplomas from 2 countries depending on the secondment host
