Switzerland.The Faculty of Economics of the University of Lugano, Switzerland, opens a Research Assistant position in Finance & Accounting. This is offered to those who are willing to pursue a Ph.D. in Finance or Accounting at the University of Lugano.

The Faculty of Economics of the University of Lugano, founded in 1996, provides an exciting environment in which to develop a research career. The assistant position is involved in scientific programs at the Swiss Finance Institute (www.sfi.ch) and financed through the NCCR-FINRISK competence centre in Finance of the Swiss National Science Foundation. http://www.nccr-finrisk.unizh.ch

The candidate for this position should have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor degree and Master in Economics or related discipline, with strong foundation in quantitative methods
• Interest in Empirical Corporate Finance or Financial Accounting
• Excellent command of English.
• Good command of either German and/or Italian
