UQ Economics Year 12 Scholarships for International Students

Each year The School of Economics offers three-years scholarships for outstanding International students who are seeking admission to the Bachelor of Economics (BEcon) degree at The University of Queensland (UQ). The scholarships covers 50% of international student’s tuition fees.

Eligibility

• International students completing Year 12 or Foundation Year Program in Australia are eligible to apply
• The UQ International Economics Scholarship is worth approximately $30 650 over three years. If the student gains entry to the one-year Honours program in Economics on completion of the BEcon program applications may be made for an Honours Scholarship (approx. value of $10 250).
• Criteria based on Year 12 Overall Position and broad academic achievement in Years 11 and 12.
• Previous study of economics at school or college is not required for enrolment in the BEcon program, nor for the scholarship.
